A Message from Interim President Michael A. Bernstein
To all Faculty and Staff,
Melissa Z.Y. Woo, Senior Vice President for Information Technology & Enterprise and Chief Information Officer, has informed me that she has accepted the position of Chief Information Officer at Michigan State University. She will depart from her current role on November 1. The strategic implementation of information services at a top research university is vital to its success. Melissa moved Stony Brook University’s Division of Information Technology into a more proactive organization, supporting all client communities at our University.
In the coming weeks, we will work to identify an Interim Chief Information Officer. Please join me in wishing Melissa Woo the best as she embarks on this next chapter of her career.
