Christine is a fourth year PhD candidate in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics. She received a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, NJ, and a Master’s degree in Physiology and Biophysics from Stony Brook University. Her dissertation project investigates the therapeutic effects of intermittent hypoxia on respiratory and lower urinary tract functions after midthoracic spinal cord injury in rodents and humans. When she is not in the lab, she loves playing video games or being outdoors kayaking, playing rugby, or snowboarding.
