Genesis Renderos

Genesis Renderos received her Bachelor's degree at Saint Peter's University, in Jersey City, New Jersey. She is currently a 4th year PhD candidate in the Takeuchi/Marschilok group. Her research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials for battery storage. She was awarded the Turner Dissertation Fellowship in the Spring of 2020. Genesis is interested in green energy research and science policy. In her spare time, Genesis enjoys art design, playing video and board games, knitting and gardening.
