Gabrielle Moody

Program in Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology

Gabrielle Moody is currently a 4th-year Pharmacology PhD student in the Wollmuth-Hsieh lab in neurobiology. She is currently studying excitatory ion channels in the context of genetic epilepsy in collaboration with the department of neurology as a member of the Scholars in Biomedical Sciences Program. Her project models patient mutations in the lab to further understand both the ion channel and its contribution to epilepsy. She is the current treasurer of GWiSE and the Pharmacology student representative. She is excited to begin her PCLP leadership with the first East Campus Group in Fall 2019.
