Pop-Up Mentoring Luncheon

Pop Up Mentoring Spring 2019The Pop-Up Mentoring (PUM) Luncheon is a  one-time, no strings attached mentoring session that gives interested Stony Brook graduate students and postdocs a chance to have a chat over lunch with a mentor outside of their official support system.

The PUM Luncheon focuses on questions that arise in academic contexts but are not field specific or research related (for example, work/life balance, issues for international scholars, job applications, issues for racial/ethnic/linguistic minorities, etc.).

Faculty members are invited to participate as mentors, and Master's students, PhD students, and Postdocs are invited to participate as mentees at our Pop-Up Mentoring Luncheon every semester.
