Arrival on Campus
Please review all university emails in advance of your arrival to determine your assigned move-in date and time.
Stony Brook cannot store your belongings prior to your arrival on campus. You are strongly encouraged not to ship personal items to the University prior to your arrival. Please coordinate delivery of any personal items to occur after reaching the campus. All campus housing facilities come furnished with beds, desks, dressers, personal lighting and closets. In apartment style facilities, there are full kitchens. The University does not provide linens or personal cooking materials (pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc). You are encouraged to bring your own linens with you (XL Twin in single student housing, Queen sized linens in family housing). In addition, there are several local shopping areas that provide many of the personal items you may want for your room.
