I joined the office of Student Orientation and Family Programs in 2009. Prior to coming to Stony Brook, I worked at Rutgers University in the areas of orientation and new student programs. I completed my B.S. in Human Services, Education, and Public Policy at the University of Delaware and my M.Ed. in College Student Affairs at Penn State. I love working with new students and Orientation Leaders and look forward to seeing you at orientation!
Assistant Director of Student Orientation & Student Leadership
I am excited to have re-joined the Office of Student Orientation and Family Programs in 2018! As a proud alumna of Stony Brook University, Class of 2013; B.A. in Sociology, coming back to SBU feels like coming home. Prior to returning to SBU, I worked at Providence College and John Carroll University in Residence Life. I earned my M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from the University of Vermont. As a former OL, I'm honored to serve in this role, and to work with new students and Orientation
Leaders as they transition into a new stage in their lives!
I’m very excited to continue working in our office as the Graduate Assistant. I’m a proud Stony Brook Alum; I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology in May 2018, and I’m currently a first-year graduate student in the Higher Education Administration Master’s program also at Stony Brook. I worked as an Orientation Leader throughout my undergraduate career here, so I feel right at home in this new position.
