College Audition Workshop

Audition season is approaching! Is your college-bound musician ready?

Stony Brook University’s Community Music Program is proud to present a two-session College Audition Workshop for high school sophomores and juniors. The workshop consists of two mock auditions as well as mini-seminars, taught by Dr. Tomoko Fujita, Director of SBU’s Young Artist Program, and Dr. Kathleen O’Rourke, Young Artist Program Voice Faculty.

Workshop topics include: performance anxiety and strategies to cope, the “Do’s and Don’ts” of auditioning, as well as one-on-one constructive feedback in a master class setting.
