Summer Music Camps

COVID-19 UPDATE

Stony Brook University and the Department of Music under guidance provided by the CDC and New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH), have determined that all summer activities  and academics must be moved online. Therefore,  all summer music camps have been canceled. We will automatically refund your payments. If you have any questions, please contact Michael Hershkowitz at michael.hershkowitz@stonybrook.edu.

Thank you for supporting Music at Stony Brook University. We are committed to protecting the health of our community and we thank you for your understanding.

Our week-long day camps focus on developing ensemble skills (chamber, jazz, and choir) which help young performers build confidence and acquire critical musicianship skills that can make them better musicians. Each day of the camp, participants will receive group instruction and take part in workshops led by professional musicians and music teachers. The camps culminate with each group performing on a final concert that will be open to the public.
