The Multidisciplinary Studies (MTD) program allows a student who is interested in more than one field of study to design an individual major by drawing on courses from two or three subject areas.
The MTD major leads to a B.A. degree, and is a program of the College of Arts and
Sciences.

Office Hours
If you are interested in the MTD major and are thinking of declaring MTD as your major, you must first have attended Stony Brook for at least 2 semesters and have attended an Info Session with the MTD advisor .
