Pre-College Summer Immersion in Korean Language and Culture
With the support of the US Department of State and the American Councils for International Education, the Center for Korean Studies has implemented a six-week summer immersion program titled, “NSLI-Y Pre-College Summer Immersion in Korean Language and Culture” in Korea for high school students selected from all around the country every summer since the summer of 2015. This six-week, intensive Korean immersion course is highly integrated with daily cultural activities, excursions, task-based projects, and Korean Pal Program called 어깨동무 so that students can fully immerse themselves into the local culture and community as well as practice Korean.
