Graduate Advising

Annual advising helps you outline the individualized plan of study that's right for you.

You will meet with your program head annually to prepare for the upcoming academic year. Each SoCJ graduate program is led by a program head, who is a faculty member with expertise related to your program.

Program heads will advise you on degree requirements and deadlines, identify courses that best meet your interests and career goals, and help you navigate SBU resources and services.

You will be reminded, via email, when it's time to schedule your advising appointment.
