Julianne Mosher headshotJulianne Mosher is a public relations specialist and freelance journalist based on Long Island, New York.

During her undergraduate at Stony Brook University, where she received her BA in journalism, she was a staff writer for TheCelebrityCafe.com and FashionWeek, covering gossip, trends and interviews with several high-profile celebrities. She was an editorial intern at Cosmopolitan Magazine during this time, where she covered fashion, health and beauty.

After graduating in 2016, she began working in television at Showtime Networks in operations, while building her freelance profile and writing for hyperlocal Long Island newspapers and websites. She has been published in Newsday, Long Island Business News, HuntingtonNow.comGreaterLongIsland.com, The Long Island Advance, The Massapequa Post and Times Beacon Record Newspapers.

Julianne left TV and took on the role of news editor for TBR News Media in 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. There, she covered local government, education, small business, health and science, and how all of these beats were impacted due to the coronavirus.

In early 2022, Julianne took a job with the Suffolk County Police Department's public relations team, eventually moving to The Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research at Northwell Health. Julianne received her MA in Communication from Southern New Hampshire University. She is an adjunct journalism and communications professor at Suffolk County Community College and Stony Brook University, both of which she attended during her academic career.
