I-STEM Undergraduate Scholarships

I-STEM is pleased to offer scholarships for students pursuing STEM majors at Stony Brook.  Recipients will receive $2500 per semester for a maximum of six semesters and must maintain a 3.2 GPA in order to receive the scholarship in subsequent semesters.  

Eligibility criteria:

• Applicant must be an incoming transfer student from Suffolk County, Nassau or Queensborough Community College OR a current Stony Brook undergraduate who transferred from one of these schools. 
• Applicant must plan to pursue a STEM major (science, technology, engineering or math) full time at  Stony Brook University
• Applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 from all institutions attended
• Preference will be given to students with financial need
