Vladimir Korepin

Stony Brook University

 

Vladimir Korepin is a professor in the C.N.Yang Institute for Theoretical Physics of Stony Brook University; Department of Physics and Astronomy as well as the Institute for Advanced Computational Science. He is a fellow of American Physical Society. In 2019 he has been awarded SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Research and Scholarly Activity. His current research centers on quantum dynamics, Bethe Ansatz and low depth quantum search. He has fundamental results on quantization of Einstein's gravity, also in entanglement in spin chains. He taught quantum information at Stony Brook University for many years. He organized multiple conferences on quantum information. He published five books in the leading publishing houses. One of them [TheOne Dimensional Hubbard Model] in Cambridge University Press.
