TOOLBOX

Come check out the Innovation Toolbox, a space where you can bring all of your building ideas to life. The Innovation Toolbox is found in the basement of Harriman Hall, room 016. Known as one of the creation spaces, the Toolbox allows students to bring their creations from ideas into reality.

WHO can use this space?

The Innovation Toolbox is open to all current SBU students, faculty, staff in any program.

 

WHAT services are available here?

●   X-Carve Machine*

●   2 Laser Cutters (Epilog Laser Cutter 40 watt & 75 watt)*

●   BandSaw*

●   Drill Press*

●   Power Drill

●   Hand Tools (Hammers, Screwdrivers, etc)

●   Whiteboards

 * These tools require training before use, please see the training page to learn more.  Additionally, please see our reservations page if you would like to use the laser cutters or X-Carve machine.

Please see the Innovation Specialist in the Toolbox if you would like to use the BOLDED services, as some of these services are located in THE SHED.

SPRING 2020 HOURS

MONDAY: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm

TUESDAY: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

WEDNESDAY: 10:00 am - 7:00 pm

THURSDAY: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

FRIDAY: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

SATURDAY: CLOSED

SUNDAY: 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm

 

WHEN is the Shed open?

TUESDAY: 10:30am - 12:30 pm

WEDNESDAY: 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
