Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor

Required Qualifications

MD degree or equivalent, eligibility for NYS license, completion at accredited Pediatric Neurology residency, he/she will be board certified or boar eligible in Pediatric Neurology with special competency in Child Neurology (SCCN) and have strong clinical teaching skills. The candidate should have a strong interest in an academic career.

Preferred Qualifications

Fellowship training in Child Neurology and an interest in neuromuscular disorders, neonatal neurology, movement disorders, childhood stroke, neurogenetics/metabolics are highly desirable.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Responsibilities include clinical care, teaching and the opportunity to be involved with clinical research activities. Clinical and research opportunities are available in autism, epilepsy, infectious disease, stroke and MS.

Special Notes

This is a non-tenure track position.  FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.  Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.
