Assistant / Associate Professor

Required Qualifications

MD or equivalent.  Board certified in Internal Medicine.  Board Certified / Board Eligible in Infectious Diseases.  Strong clinical background to assume patient care, teach fellows and medical students, and must have excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Clinical experience in the treatment of Infectious Diseases in the Immunocompromised host.  Ideal candidates will have a commitment to establishing a track record as a clinical educator or clinical researcher.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Candidate should have a strong clinical background to assume patient care and teaching fellows, residents, and medical students.

Eligibility for tenure will be based on an applicant's qualifications and experience.  To qualify for an appointment as an Associate Professor, the candidate must meet the School of Medicine's Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure.

Special Notes

This is a non-tenure track position.  FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.  Internal and external search to occur simultaneously.  Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.
