Responsibilities & Requirements Stony Brook University invites applications for a one year, renewable, non-tenure
track lecturer position in the Department of Chemistry. Stony Brook is a research
university with a strong commitment to curricular innovation. The position includes
opportunities for curriculum development and for training and supervision of teaching
assistants in the department's undergraduate chemistry courses. Initial assignments
will be in our general chemistry or organic chemistry courses and may include laboratory
or lecture courses.
Special Notes This is a non-tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime
provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: September 1, 2018. Review of applicants will begin in July of 2018 and continue until
the position has been filled.
