M.S. in Global Technology Management - Global Program
MSTSM – The Global Program in the Department of Technology and Society is a unique distance education program that links students living in Asia with Stony Brook University faculty. This program is structured as follows: students are admitted to the program during the summer and the department teaches the first two classes online. Our faculty lecture in real time using Stony Brook University’s live video and audio broadcast system which reaches students from any location. Students also have the option of viewing or reviewing an archived lecture at a later time.
The remaining 8 classes in the program are taught on Stony Brook University’s Long Island, New York campus. Students come to Stony Brook in the fall semester and graduate the following spring. After graduation, students are eligible to apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT). Our master’s program is a STEM program.
Students applying to the program must meet all university graduate school admission requirements. All courses offered by the program are taught in English and an English Language Proficiency Test is required for admission. Please see the Academics link on the main page of this web site and the Graduate Program link for degree requirements and admission policies.
