Economic Development Team donated meals to Stony Brook Hospital Meal Train

Stony Brook University's Economic Development Team donated meals to Stony Brook University Hospital Meal Train in May.

A total of 110 meals were purchased to provide meals for our medical heros serving the front lines fighting the COVID-19 battle. The meals were purchased and delivered by Ron Hoffman, owner of BLISS in East Setauket. Hoffman donated an additional 30 meals for the health care workers.

The Meal Train is the system which makes donating food to the frontline workers and all medical staff safe, easy and efficient. Meals are being accepted within the Meal Train now through the end of May.
