Undergraduate Recognition Awards

Students may be nominated for awards in Academic Excellence or Outstanding Achievement. Awards for Academic Excellence are given for academic accomplishments that go beyond the classroom experience. Awards for Outstanding Achievement are presented for accomplishments that relate to the life of the university and surrounding community in the following sub categories; Athletics, Community Service and Leadership.

Certificate of Recognition given at the University's Annual Undergraduate Recognition Awards Ceremony held at the end of the Spring semester.

Nominees must be matriculated students and have completed at least two semesters at Stony Brook University. Nominees must be nominated for either Academic Excellence (minimum GPA 3.4) or in one of the following three Outstanding Achievement subcategories: Athletics, Leadership or Community Service (min GPA 2.75).  Students will be notified once your nomination is submitted and will then be required to complete a student submission form and attach a copy of their resume.
