MAT Alumnus Named to Stony Brook's "40 Under 40" List
Martin F. Palermo, a 2006 graduate of Stony Brook’s Master of Arts in Teaching Biology program has been named a 2016 Honoree of the University’s "40 Under Forty" List. Mr. Palermo is the Master Chemistry Teacher at William Floyd High School and has collaborated with his fellow New York State Master Teachers from all STEM disciplines to develop interdisciplinary lessons for K-12 teachers. He also co-founded the Long Island Association for Chemistry Teacher Support (LIACTS), which promotes chemical education and best practices.
