SBIR/STTR Proposal Development Assistance Program 

Through a competitive application process, the Center for Biotechnology offers one-on-one proposal development counseling from SBIR/STTR experts to those preparing an NIH SBIR/STTR application. 

Companies that have completed our intensive workshop, participated in another workshop of its kind, and/or have previously submitted an unsuccessful SBIR/STTR proposal, are invited to apply for our cohort. 

Selected participants will work directly with our expert consultants to develop their proposal by working through weekly webinars dedicated to reviewing specific proposal topics, and by submitting proposal sections for review following the cohort schedule. The participant and consultant will work back and forth to refine the proposal. This hourly, iterative proposal development assistance will be offered on an as needed basis. 

If selected for follow on counseling, participants will be charged $250 participation fee. Additional costs will be covered by the Center for Biotechnology through the Downstate New York SBIR Assistance Program.
