Answer: Your Academic Advisor will be able to review your degree requirements with you. You can also call the Registrar’s Office at 631-632-6175 (option #1) to apply for graduation.
Answer: The Registrar’s Office is accepting late applications in person if you missed the deadline. The office is located in the Administration Building. Please be advised that students that apply to graduate after November 13th, 2019, will not be eligible to have their name listed in the printed program.
Answer: Eligible candidates will have access to apply to graduate and register for commencement ceremonies on their SOLAR account. The deadline for registration is November 13 at midnight.

Answer: Candidates who have applied to graduate and registered for the December Commencement Ceremony by Wednesday, November 13 at midnight on SOLAR will be able to access the online ticket portal on our commencement website on Monday, December 9, 2019. All Candidates will receive (3) Guest Tickets to the December Commencement Ceremony at that time.
Answer: Candidates who have successfully applied to graduate will have 3 guest tickets reserved in their name. Unfortunately we are unable to provide any extra tickets. There will be a live stream of the Ceremony on http://www.ustream.tv/channel/sbu-live-events.
Answer: Unfortunately, Commencement tickets are not mailed. Registered candidates may access our online ticketing portal on the Commencement website.
Answer: Children 3 and under do not require a ticket but may not occupy a seat and must sit on an adults lap. Children over 3 years of age require a ticket.
Answer: Honors Candidates will be notified by email. On behalf of the Office of the Provost, a complimentary honor stole will be given.
