This fall it is more important than ever to take appropriate precautions against influenza, including the flu vaccine, in order to prevent overburdening of medical facilities dealing with COVID-19 cases.
Students may receive the flu vaccine at Student Health Services. There is no fee for eligible students.
Faculty and staff can receive the flu vaccine on campus according to the following schedule:

The flu vaccine is covered by insurance. Please remember to bring your insurance card.
Stony Brook University Hospital is offering the flu vaccine to faculty and staff with “HOSPITAL ACCESS” on their ID badge in Employee Health & Wellness, Hospital Level 8S, Room 140. Call (631) 444-7767.
Health Sciences staff may receive the vaccine through Preventive Medicine. Call (631) 444-6250 to schedule an appointment.
