2021 State Primary Election

 

Tuesday, June 22, 2021 (New York)

If you have never registered to vote before in New York, or if you need to update your voter information in New York:

    • Register to Vote BY MAIL - Postmarked to local board of elections no later than May 28, 2021
      • Received by local board of elections no later than June 2, 2021
    • Register to Vote IN PERSON - Received by local board of elections no later than May 28, 2021
    • Change of Address - Received by local board of elections no later than June 2, 2021
    • Change of Political Party - Received by local board of elections no later than February 12, 2021

If you have registered to vote in New York and want to participate in absentee voting:

    • Request Absentee Ballot BY EMAIL OR FAX - Received by local board of elections no later than June 15, 2021
    • Request Absentee Ballot BY MAIL - Postmarked to local board of elections no later than June 15, 2021
    • Request Absentee Ballot IN PERSON - Received by local board of elections no later than June 21, 2021
    • Submit Absentee Ballot BY MAIL - Postmarked to local board of elections no later than June 22, 2021
      • Received by local board of elections no later than June 29, 2021
    • Submit Absentee Ballot IN PERSON - Received by local board of elections no later than June 22, 2021
      • Cannot be submitted by the voter

Early Voting for the 2021 Primary Election in New York will be from June 12, 2021 to June 20, 2021.
