Ashley BarryHeadshot of Ashley
PhD candidate- Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies

Ashley joined the CIE in March 2022 through the IDEA Graduate Fellowship. As the CIE Mental Health Specialist, Ashley works on developing programming around wellness and neurodiversity. When not on campus, she is watching movies and working on her dissertation: "In/Sane On Screen: Mad Films and the Psychiatric Gaze.

PhD candidate- Integrative Neuroscience at Psychology

Sam joined the Center for Inclusive Education in 2022 summer as the graduate student assistant. She mainly assists with NIH IMSD MERGE T32, Dr. W. Burghardt Turner, and GEM Fellowship programs. 

 

 

 

 

Nikunj MittalHeadshot of Nikunj
Master's candidate- Computer Science

Nikunj joined the Center for Inclusive Education in Fall 2022. He mainly works on maintaining and updating the CIE Website. In his spare time, he enjoys swimming, listening to music and reading about new advances in technology.

MD/MPH candidate

Victoria is currently pursuing the Master of Public Health portion of her combined MD/MPH degree. She has completed 3 years of medical school and is planning on applying to OB/GYN residency next year. Joining the CIE in July 2022, Victoria supports the AGEP and IRACDA programs. In her spare time, she plays soccer and is co-host of "Mind the Gap", a podcast about taking a gap year in medical school!

PhD candidate- Economics

Shafira joined the Center for Inclusive Education in Fall 2022. She mainly works on managing, updating, and creating content for CIE's social media accounts. In her spare time, she enjoys sitcoms, reading fiction, and going for runs!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Grace WivellHeadshot of Grace
PhD candidate- Linguistics

Grace first joined the CIE in 2017 when she was completing her Masters in TESOL, and returned after starting her PhD in Linguistics. She works on events across the many CIE Programs, and also works closely with the Community of Student Mentors.  Grace loves to bake, read, crochet, and play badminton, and she has the uncanny ability to bring dairy cows into just about any conversation.
