Who can participate?
Both college graduate and undergraduate students currently LIVING IN THE US. Max 4 per team.

Are there any costs associated?
Zero. No registration fees. 

Do I need to register?
Yes! Registration is required as space is limited and registration will close once it is filled. 

When and where is Hack@CEWIT?
George Washington's  birthday week, Friday, February 18 to Sunday, February 20, 2022. The event is completely virtual and takes place wherever you are. The event kicks off Friday afternoon at 5pm EST and ends on Sunday by 1pm EST.

What is CEWIT?
The Center of Excellence in Wireless and Information Technology (CEWIT) is a New York State-designated next generation research and education facility at Stony Brook University specializing in emerging, critical information technologies.

Will there be multiple prize categories? 
Yes! They will be annouced at the event. 

What are the rules?
As a Major League Hacking member event, Hack@CEWIT is adopting MLH's Code of Conduct.  Please also view the CEWIT hacker rules.

What kind of activities will there be?
Tech talks and deep-dive workshops to improve your skills and learn new programs while meeting fellow hackers, mentors, and companies looking to recruit their next generation of talent + games, and multimedia experiences.

What if I do not have a team or an idea?
The Hack@CEWIT team and our mentors will be available virtually 24/7 to help build teams and kick-start ideas.
