Rick (Rugui) Chen joined Google Cloud as Enterprise App Mod Solutions Engineer since Sept. 2020 to facilitate customer adoption of Google Cloud application platform eco-system( GKE, Anthos, Cloud Run, Cloud Build, Cloud Deploy etc). Before joining Google Cloud, Rick had been working with TIAA, Capital One as Lead Cloud Engineer lead public cloud journey focusing on multi-cloud and hybrid enterprise cloud modernization efforts.

Rick had worked as different roles as solutions architect, system analyst and customer facing IT consult in earlier careers. He is very passionate about cloud technologies with infrastructure and application automation since my early cloud practice in 2010. 

I came to US from Mainland China in 1997, moved to New York from Michigan in 2005 and currently live with my lovely wife Mindy in Long Island City, Queens, NYC.
