David Mesecher

David MesecherAs an Associate Technology Fellow at Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems in Bethpage, NY, David Mesecher is involved in investigating and developing wireless communications, antenna processing, target tracking and ID, precision geolocation, and sensor fusion concepts in support of Network-Centric Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR). He holds 26 US patents and several foreign patents for signal processing techniques in the areas of wireless communications, adaptive antenna arrays, and real-time location systems, and has authored several papers on adaptive signal processing, target location, and communications.

Mr. Mesecher is a Senior Member of both the IEEE and the AIAA. He is the chairman of the Long Island Chapter of the IEEE Communications Society, and the current vice conference chair and past Technical Program Committee chair of the IEEE Long Island Systems, Applications, and Technology (LISAT) Conference. He was awarded the IEEE Regional Activities Board 2003 Large Section Award in recognition of his work as Long Island Section 2003 chair, and the IEEE Region 1 Award in 2006 in recognition of his work on the LISAT technical program committee.

Mr. Mesecher (M'95-SM'01) holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, N.Y., a master's degree in electrical engineering from Polytechnic NYU, Brooklyn, NY, and a master's degree in business administration from Adelphi University, Garden City, NY.
