Ambassador Ido Aharoni is Consul General of Israel in New York. As such he represents
the State of Israel to communities from throughout the tri-state areas of New York,
New Jersey and Connecticut. Ido has been a member of Israel’s Foreign Service since
the summer of 1991. During his tenure in Israel’s diplomatic corps Aharoni held two
overseas positions, in Los Angeles and New York. While Consul for Media and Public
Affairs in New York he became familiar with nation-branding methods, which he later
introduced to his superiors in Jerusalem. His efforts in this area which continue
until today have brought about a paradigm shift in Israel’s public image by Israeli
officials in Israel and the United States.

Tom Bianculli serves as the Senior Director of Emerging Business Opportunities within the
Chief Technology Office of Motorola Solutions. In this role, Tom is responsible for the
exploration and development of new opportunities and product solutions that fall adjacent
to the current businesses.
Tom joined Symbol Technologies, Inc. in 1994 as a product development engineer in
the Advanced Data Capture business. Over the following years Tom held positions of increased
responsibility, including architectural and director of engineering roles. As larger
investments were made in the imaging data capture product category, Tom provided technical
leadership for the business in this area and co-led the development of the company’s
first and industry’s leading imaging based two-dimensional handheld data capture product
while on assignment in Japan in a joint venture with Olympus Optical Company.
In 2007, Tom was tasked with forming a team within a newly created organization, the Emerging
Business Office (EBO). Currently, this team has relationships with key decision makers
at major customers, a pipeline of growth initiatives and is executing on projects
to drive revenue in new areas and product categories for Motorola Solutions and the
industry. Tom has been granted 20 U.S. patents to date and is a Motorola Distinguished
Innovator. Tom holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Electrical
Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York University (NYU).

management experience. He most recently served as President and CEO of Pivot3, a leader
in converged storage appliance solutions for video surveillance and VDI applications.
Earlier, he was VP of Corporate Development and CMO at NCR Corporation, and Chairman
and CEO of Intelleflex, a Silicon Valley-based company delivering RFID-based cold
supply chain solutions.
Mr. Bravman spent the first twenty-six years of his career at Symbol Technologies,
where he started as a software engineer and the fifth company employee, progressed
through multiple roles in marketing, business development, and division general management,
and most recently served as Vice Chairman and CEO. During his tenure, the company
grew from a startup to a $1.7B revenue, $4B market cap, S&P 500 public company. Mr.
Bravman has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from SUNY Stony Brook.
