WilliamKay Joins CEAS as Proposal Manager and Writer

William KayWilliam Kay has been named proposal manager and writer for the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Highly experienced in research and grants administration, Will has helped academic institutions implement strategies to increase grant productivity and craft proposals funded by an array of federal agencies, foundations, and corporations. He will work with the Dean’s office and CEAS departments to develop strategies for increasing grant productivity and proposal competitiveness, as well as provide direct proposal development support.

Will has worked in higher education since 2006, as director of grants and corporate and foundation relations and director, grants and sponsored projects for Ithaca College, and content director for the Grant Development Center at Hanover Research.  Most recently he managed research, strategic planning and grant seeking services with Q & Q Analytics.

Originally from Bethlehem, PA, Will has an MS in Community and Regional Planning from University of Oregon, and a BA in Anthropology from Ithaca College.
