    Screencastify/ Screen-Cast-O-Matic

    Using audio and/or video, teachers can more personally reach their students while teaching remotely. Screencastify and Screencastomatic are tools that enable teachers to share materials from their own screen while annotating and highlighting in real-time. Teachers who use screencasting tools will find that it’s easier for students to work at their own pace and makes it easier for them to engage in the technological world in ways that are familiar to them.

In this workshop, we will explore the Seven Dimensions of Wellness, learn how to apply the Three Keys to Ignite Potential, and experience tools that support us to deal more effectively with stress and overload. These small shifts have a significant impact, supporting more energy, more presence, more potential, and more innovation in our work and personal lives.

    Session 2: Understanding Mindfulness and Meditation: The Art and Science of Self-Awareness

    We practice Mindfulness to create a deeper self-awareness and improve our ability to move out from under the impacts of stress, overwhelm, anxiety, PTSD and other reactive states impacting our health. The tools of Mindfulness include breath, movement, visualization, and meditation. Brain science and mindfulness research have shown us that when we use these tools, we can powerfully enhance self-regulation, increase coping skills, manage our choices more productively, and improve attention, focus, and concentration. Participants will leave with a greater understanding of why self-awareness is essential as well as easily integrated strategies and tools for their own lives and with students.

    Session 3: Understanding Emotional Intelligence

    In a world where we are experiencing exponential increases in chronic illness, depression, anxiety, hyper-connectivity, and stress, building our Emotional IQ is essential. We will define emotional Intelligence, review the benefits of improved emotional IQ, and explore our emotional vocabulary. Participants will experience a deeper understanding of the science of emotion and learn how to cultivate greater emotional mastery. Emotional mastery is the cornerstone for effective, powerful communication, cultivating empathy and nurturing a leadership style of collaboration, solution-oriented mindset, and innovation.

    Session 4: The Positivity Project: The Science of Happiness and Success

    Participants explore the neuroscience of gratitude, kindness, and cultivating happiness and success in their lives, and in the lives of those they lead. This workshop shifts our focus from external drivers and explores the impact of our internal patterns, habits, and choices. We will re-emphasize and explore the impact of the Three Keys to Ignite Potential: Self-Awareness, Solution Oriented Mindset, and Self-Responsibility. We conclude this series with a reflection on our multi-dimensional wellness, and a clarification of future goals and commitments
