If you have to fix the same problem in your company every six months, you need  Root Cause Analysis. Most problems companies face are the tip of an iceberg. They are symptoms of an underlying problem that must be discovered before it can be solved. This session provides a process for investigating issues and quickly obtaining facts that will lead you to the real cause, the Root Cause.

Exercises are used to bring the theory into practical use. Problem examples to be worked in the class can be provided by the participants. This problem solving approach uses tools such as brainstorming and Cause and Effect Diagrams to clearly identify the problem and factors that contribute to it. From this understanding, the Root Causes are determined and proper solutions can be developed to resolve the problem permanently.
