Dr. Jessica Schleider studies mechanism-targeted intervention and prevention programs to reduce youth mental health problems and promote positive youth development.
Dr. Jessica Schleider joins the College of Arts and Sciences from Yale University, where she completed her Predoctoral Internship in Clinical Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry. She studies mechanism-targeted intervention and prevention programs to reduce youth mental health problems and promote positive youth development. Her interests also include identifying cognitive and familial change mechanisms in treating youth mental health. She is the author of 25 research articles in peer-reviewed journals. She’s served as a therapist and counselor in numerous clinical settings. Dr. Schleider holds a BA from Swarthmore, and a MA and PhD from Harvard.
