Dr. Manea studies economic game theory, including such topics as bargaining in dynamic markets, social status in networks, models of bilateral trade, and incentives.

Dr. Mihai Manea joins us from MIT where he served as an associate professor.  He earned his AB from Princeton, his PhD from Harvard, and held visiting positions at Stanford and Yale.  Dr. Manea is a game theorist focusing on social and economic networks. His work has been published in prestigious journals such as the Journal of Political Economy, the American Economic Review and Econometrica.
