A Shared Vision for the College of Arts and Sciences

The rapid shifts occurring in enrollments as well as decreased funding for public higher education and research have led us to think in new ways about navigating the changing higher education environment while we continue to address the most pressing problems for our society.

Using information gathered through departmental self-studies, structured interviews of key stakeholders, and iterative discussions in retreat with College leadership, we have identified grand challenges requiring our expertise as researchers and educators.
