From a young age, I’ve hoped and tried to expand my positive impact on the global community. Being a part of the Stony Brook University community has given me the tools and support to fulfill this desire. I’ve lead clubs including Stony Brook Public Health Brigades, Stony Brook Distressed Children and Infants International, and Watsi, all with a focus on improving public health abroad. As a student who takes academics seriously, I’ve received the Academic Achievement award and held undergraduate teaching assistant positions for courses such as BIO202, BIO204, and CHE130. Having the opportunity to aid students in the learning process has been an amazing experience. I look forward to utilizing personal and peer insights I’ve garnered since my freshman year to continue improving the campus and student experiences.
