Career Center Internship Program

The Career Center Internship program is an opportunity for students to develop skills in a variety of areas while building connections with employers, alumni, and Career Center staff.  Students must be willing to participate in this internship for two consecutive semesters Fall 2021 & Spring 2022. Students completing this internship will earn 6 credits to satisfy EXP+ Requirement (3 credits/semester).  All interns are required to be available from 9 am to 11 am every Wednesday and an additional 10 hours per week when classes are in session.

Career Coaching Intern

This is a great opportunity for students who find fulfillment in the idea of helping others. Students will assist their peers in all aspects of the career development process from identifying potential career directions, to pursuing meaningful career-related experiences, and making successful transitions from college to the world of work or graduate school. Partaking in this internship allows students to assist in the career, academic, and personal development of not only their peers, but also of themselves.

Communications Intern

The Communications Internship includes researching, writing, and editing text for the Career Center’s website and other publications, as well as producing videos for social media platfroms, in association with staff. This internship provides valuable experience for students who are interested in careers in public relations, corporate communications, and writing and editing.

Graphic Design Intern

Work collaboratively with Marketing/Communications team and professional staff to design marketing collateral for Career Center social media accounts, publications, special events, and bulletin boards, and more.

Marketing Intern

Represent the Career Center and promote services to students through a variety of channels, including social media platforms,  emails,   high traffic areas of campus, in-class presentations, residence halls and commuter communities.

Operations and Talent Management Intern

This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in Talent Acquisition, and/or Operations Management to become more knowledgeable about corporate organizations/non-profit agencies and their recruitment/operations processes. Regardless of the industry your future career will be in, the experience gained as an Operations and Talent Management (OTM) Intern can be applied across various industries including business, healthcare, IT, engineering and more.
