Dr. Keli Xiao received his Ph.D. in Management/Finance and M.S. in Quantitative Finance from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey in 2013 and 2009 respectively. He also obtained a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Queens College in the City University of New York in 2008. He received his B.S. in Computer Science from the Wuhan University of Technology. Dr. Xiao’s research interests include business and data analytics with a focus on management and finance problems, such as urban computing, real estate, asset pricing, and economic bubbles, etc. He has published research articles in leading field journals and conference proceedings, such as Real Estate Economics, IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering (TKDE), ACM Transactions on Knowledge Discovery from Data (TKDD), ACM Transactions on Management Information Systems (TMIS), ACM SIGKDD International Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining (KDD), and IEEE International Conference on Data Mining (ICDM). He was invited as a field editor of Encyclopedia of GIS 2nd Edition (Springer). He was also an invited reviewer of several refereed journals, such as TKDE, TMIS, and the Knowledge and Information Systems (KAIS) journal. He has served on the organization and program committee of many international conferences, such as KDD, ICDM, and the SIAM International Conference on Data Mining (SDM).
