Assistant Professor, Accounting
Keval Amin is an Assistant Professor of Accounting in the College of Business. After completing his doctorate at Temple University, he joined Stony Brook in 2014. His primary research interest is archival auditing. Particularly, his studies examine the economic consequences of audit outputs, audit pricing, and the public accounting industry as a whole. Professor Amin’s research interests have motivated his teaching of External Auditing, Advanced Auditing, Internal Auditing, Financial Accounting, and Managerial Accounting. Prior to pursuing academia, he obtained the CPA license and gained experience as an auditor at Deloitte LLP and Ernst & Young LLP.
