Stony Brook Athletics

Follow all of the Seawolves NCAA Division I action in men's and women's sports; scores, schedules, tickets, video and more.

Walter J. Hawrys Campus Recreation Center

Faculty, staff and employees can purchase memberships to utilize the Walter J. Hawrys Campus Recreation Center for participation in open recreation, fitness classes, intramural sports and more.

Stony Brook Southampton Gym

Located across Tuckahoe Road with an entrance adjacent to the railroad crossing, the gym offers basketball,  volleyball, tennis  and badminton equipment.


Healthier U is Stony Brook University's wellness initiative for faculty, staff and employees designed to address your total well-being — mind, body and spirit.

Staller Center for the Arts

Long Island's premier arts center offers music, dance, theater, films, the Met Opera in HD, and art exhibits at the Zuccaire Gallery. Stallers also produces the annual Stony Brook Film Festival showcasing new films from around the world.

Avram Theatre 

The 429-seat Avram Theater has been the site of leading artistic events since the 1980s, including readings, dance and musical recitals, operas, theater productions, and Pianofest, a series of concerts by internationally-acclaimed classical musicians.

Charles B. Wang Center

The Charles B. Wang Center serves a wide range of audiences by sharing every corner of Asian culture. Thanks to our diverse cultural programs including exhibits, performances, workshops, lectures, films, and festivals, visitors do not need a passport to travel to Asia.

Paul W.  Zuccaire Gallery

The Paul W. Zuccaire Gallery presents dynamic professional and student exhibitions in a 5,000 square foot space in the Staller Center for the Arts at Stony Brook University.

University Libraries 

Visitors are welcome to the Stony Brook University Libraries which has a dynamic range of programs and events that are open to all, including exhibits, concerts, lectures, workshops, and symposia.  In addition, we provide access to over 2 million volumes and hundreds of databases while on campus.

University Shops and Services

Stony Brook Campus:

Stony Brook Medicine: 
The Stony Brook Hospital Gift Shop  offers an assortment of gifts, greeting cards, books, magazines, newspapers, flowers, home decorations, toiletries and seasonal items.

Stony Brook Southampon:
Through donations and sales, the Southampton Hospital Foundation Thrift Shop provides aid to various health related services.

University Dining Locations

Stony Brook Campus: 
The CulinArt Campus Dining facilities offer a variety of food options for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Late Night. Catering to all dietary needs including the "Big 8" allergens & Avoiding Gluten is available. The facilities include East Side Dining, West Side Dining, Starbucks, SAC Food courts, Administration Cart, and many more. 

Stony Brook Medicine:
Dining services offer quality service and products as well as onsite and offsite catering. The facilities include Starbucks, Skyline Deli, and many more. 

Stony Brook Southampton:
South Fork Kitchens Café is located at the Student Center on Stony Brook University's Southampton Campus. Your purchase supports Amagansett Food Institute, a nonprofit organization that works with farmers and food producers to create a more sustainable and equitable food system.
