Stony Brook iGEM: Student-led summer-long research project in synthetic biology that is presented at the International iGEM Jamboree. Appropriate for students at all levels with interests in synthetic biology. Students must apply to be part of the team.

Stony Brook University Golden Key: Stony Brook's chapter is focused on service; with members performing many hours annually. We’ve maintained a Gold standing for exemplary chapter activities every year that the Chapter Standards Program has been in place. Synthetic Biology Society: The Synthetic Biology Society is relatively new club at Stony Brook focused on the quickly growing field of synthetic biology through review of recent literature and field developments

Undergraduate Biochemistry Society: The Biochemistry Society was founded on the premise of providing a venue for those with an interest in the science to discuss and develop their understanding of it. We also continue to build upon the society’s tradition and emphasis on mentoring by holding upperclassmen-led review sessions for courses like Biochemistry Organic Chemistry and Physiology as well as seminars about maintaining a C.V. writing successful personal statements and applying graduate or medical schools.

Young Investigator's Review: The Young Investigators Review is Stony Brook University's undergraduate-orientated, all-inclusive science journal. Founded in 2008, our mission is to provide the student community with a way to learn more about the research currently being done on-campus by their faculty and their fellow peers. We feature articles that span all fields, from Physics to Neuroscience to Linguistics, including original student research and interviews with research faculty.

Our journal offers aspiring talented future researchers and physicians a way to hone their science writing skills and spread word of their experiences to inspire incoming students to think about devoting their futures to the various fields of science
