2020 Virtual Biochemistry & Biology Convocation
Message from the Director
Dear 2020 Biochemistry and Biology Graduates, family and friends,
The spring of 2020 has been unlike any other spring semester at Stony Brook and certainly nothing like the semester we all anticipated for the graduating class of 2020. The mid-semester disruption due to COVID-19 has impacted us all in so many different ways, including a move to a virtual celebration of the accomplishments of students that are graduating from two of the most challenging and respected degree programs at one of the top universities in the world. The fact that we are all unable to celebrate this occasion together does not tarnish the value of these accomplishments, indeed it is an extra special accomplishment for our graduates to complete their degrees given these circumstances. We are excited to celebrate this moment and congratulate our graduates. We invite you to join us for the Biochemistry and Biology Virtual Convocation at 10:30 AM on Friday May 22nd. We hope to see you there!
