Co-founder and CEO of healthcare solutions company Vital Vio, this innovative entrepreneur introduced White Light Disinfection™ technology to combat the pervasive and costly challenge of germs. In just 5 years she has led the growth of the company to include strategic partners in the health care, pharmaceutical, food processing, emergency service vehicles, home décor, and athletics arenas. VioSafe™ antibacterial lights can now be found in venues ranging from a St. Peters Health Partners' trauma room, to a Duke Athletics training facility, to individual customers' homes. Reinventing disinfection, along with previous clinical research at Mount Sinai and Weill Cornell, has put this biomedical engineer on elite lists including Forbes 30Under30, and Inc's 50 Emerging Global Entrepreneurs. Prior to co-founding Vital Vio in 2012, her background spanned clinical device research, biomedical engineering, and product development. She holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY. She has additionally been featured on CNBC, Bloomberg, ABC, and was named as a Inc. Magazine 30 Under 30 Most Brilliant Young Founders, Albany Business Review 40 Under 40 and is a selected member of the Kairos Society.
