Kathleen O'Connor

Ms. Kathleen O'Connor is a Senior Project Manager at NYSERDA. Her current focus is supporting the transition of New York States larger municipal wastewater treatment; facilities toward net energy neutral water resource recovery facilities ("Utilities of the Future").
Ms. O'Connor has worked for NYSERDA since 2002, during which time she also taught a graduate-level Water Resources Planning course in the Department of Geography and Planning at the University of Albany. Kathleen served as chair of the New York Water Environment Association's (NYWEA) Energy/Research Committee for over a decade; and recently completed a three-year term on NYWEA's Board of Directors. Prior to her work with NYSERDA, Kathleen worked as an engineering consultant.
Ms. O'Connor has a MS in Environmental Engineering from University of California at Davis, and a BSE in Civil Engineering and BA in Political Science from University of Michigan. She is a registered Professional Engineer in New York State.
