Herschel Specter, an MIT graduate, is the Micro-Utilities, Inc. President and a Professional Engineer in NY State. Mr. Specter was an officer in the Army's Corps of Engineers, a Scientific Secretary at Diplomat rank, with the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, Austria, Manager of NYPA's adjudicatory hearing on Indian Point 3, Chairman of several national committees, a guest lecturer at MIT, Harvard, Cornell, and Maryland University, author of over 32 technical and energy policy papers, and has presented testimony to the National Academy of Sciences on Fukushima. He is a Topic Director at Our Energy Policy Foundation. He is a past President of Big Brothers of the National Capital Area and has received a citation from a past President of the United States for his service to youth.
