Emily Wheeler is the VP of Operations for Smarter Grid Solutions. Prior to joining SGS she was the Director of Cleantech Initiatives at NYU and led the New York City Accelerator for a Clean and Resilient Economy (NYC ACRE). She was also a co-creator and the Director of Operations for PowerBridgeNY. Her previous work experience includes performance of over $8 billion of technical due diligence for first-of- a-kind technology at the US Department of Energy's Loan Program Office and heading up the SOFC R&D program at the Department of Energy. In 2013, she was named to Breaking Energy's list of New York's Top 10 Young Energy Leaders for 2013. Graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
