Manager, Applications Engineering and Project Development
Ed Baker leads a team responsible for evaluating the technical and economic benefits of a Doosan Fuel Cell solution for customers' facilities. His responsibilities include investigation of facility operation, determination of fuel cell electrical and thermal utilization, utility rate analysis and project financial calculations.
Ed's career includes extensive experience in the diversified energy field, implementing supply and demand-side projects, including cogeneration, lighting and controls. He has led successful teams in programmatic energy endeavors at large campus settings.
Ed holds an MS in Facilities Management from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, an MBA from Adelphi University and a BS in Marine Engineering and Marine Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, NY. He is an adjunct professor at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy teaching energy management and is a Certified Energy Manager and LEED AP.
